Jim and Chris, 2 of the Four Horsemen do their part to sign for the fans. Chris gives a yawn to show Jim that he thinks his signature is boring, and Jim retaliates with... THE FINGER.
Did you see what we saw? It's the Lion's Gate Films booth, chock full of Devil's Rejects memorabilia, courtesy of NECA. Folks were tempted to break in to the glass container for the action figures and to steal the gas mask from Undead, that way they could use the convention toilets without much horror.
With exclusives like the Captain Spaulding & Baby 2-Pack, how does the competition stand a chance?
Here our big bad Spaulding 18 incher looks over the Devil's Rejects comics shown exclusively at the show. It's amazing how you can easily translate death, destruction, murder, and psychotic behavior from script, to screen, to toy, and to comic. No matter what medium, people always love their gallons of blood.
Here are our lunch box, bag, and t-shirts all at the Lion's Gate booth. That's right, you can show off your friends severed head from your Rejects bag when you go back to school, and keep your neighbors fingers in the lunch box! Mmmm, I love finger food!
Here we see the actual prop mask and armor set used by Rufus in the Devil's Rejects. Unfortunately, we couldn't test it out to see if it really worked. No one wanted to let us put them in the suit and shoot high caliber weaponry at them. Instead, we shot them without having the suit on. It was a lot more fun.
We had even more Corpses and Rejects items for everyone to see, and even then that still isn't enough for the fans. People have already been asking us if we are making another series for Corpses or Rejects figures! You can't satiate some people's thirst for violence.
A batch of Devil's Rejects figures stand tall while that little puppet guy rides a tricycle. It's a line-up of terror!
C'mon guys! Otis feels left out of the carnage and mayhem!
The Lion's Gate display in all its glory!
And thus, it is over. The trip back home ends and it's time to pick up the luggage. We ran into a little bit of a problem, however, as the conveyer belt made everyone's luggage the same. It wasn't nice looking for your favorite t-shirt in the bag, only to find a rotting corpse instead. How did they even pass all of those through customs? Anyhow, hope you enjoyed our wrap up of the San Diego Comic-Con as much as we enjoyed being there and showing it to you!
